On the Gunaxin Sports Show we recently sat down with former MLB star Fred Lynn. He started his career as if it was a dream. He was playing for the Red Sox who went to play in the World Series that year and he won Rookie of the Year and the leagues MVP award. THIS WAS HIS FIRST YEAR! That was in 1974 and the next person to accomplish that feat was Ichiro Suzuki in 2001. He also played for the Angels, Orioles, Tigers, and Padres during his career. In 1983 he won the MVP award for the All-Star Game and is the only person to hit a Grand Slam in an All-Star Game.
